Very happy to pick up Best Comedy Song at the Tamworth Songwriting Awards last night for ‘Welcome To Australia’. Congratulations to all the other winners as well. This song has been very good to me over the past year as it also picked up the Best Comedy Song at the Gidgee Coal Bush Ballad Awards and spent 12 weeks in the Australian Country Music Charts, reaching #2.
